I am hearing a squeaky rattling noise when driving at fast speeds (above 75), which sounds like a brake noise but I am not on the brake.
A
Unfortunately, I don’t think that I can suggest a specific area to look at with just this much information.
I would suggest that you detail just how the sound occurs, and under what circumstances. Additionally, try to get a general idea of where the sound may be originating (someone else in the car, that can look & poke around, would be helpful).
* Can you hear the noise differently or in more detail, with the driver or passenger side windows open or closed?
* Is the noise front, rear, left, right, etc.?
* If the noise starts at 75-mph, does it go away at some higher speed (or as you slow down)?
* Does it change if you apply the brakes?
* Does it change if you accelerate or decelerate (change throttle position)?
* Does it change if you change lanes (turning right or left)?
* Does the noise change at all when you go over a bump? Any difference from front to rear or left to right?
