I need to reset code for radio after battery installation & how to reset clock.

The radio in the E46 chassis (3-series 99-05, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i, M3) does not require a security code if the power is interrupted (as the earlier models do).

Procedure, in short:

1) Key in position 1 or 2

2) Use the reset button that is to the right of the tachometer … turn clockwise to increase time … turn counter-clockwise to set-back time.

3) Pressing the button changes from 12-hr time to 24-hr time
